The Uncanny Movienight #2: Divergent

In the future, the world as we know it has ended. What’s left of humanity has holed up in a ruined Chicago where they divided their society into factions based on their mental aptitude. Teenagers are tested at the age of sixteen and then assigned to their factions. But Beatrice “Tris” Prior’s result come back inconclusive. She is different. She is Divergent.

Join the Uncanny Book-Clut on their second movienight. This time, we’ll watch Divergent, the movie based on Veronica Roth’s Young Adult Bestsellers. In the book, apart from being Divergent, Tris must face an oppressive government, her own cowardice and weakness and ultimately her own emotions.

We have a number of tickets reserved, so if you want one, make sure to RSVP on our Facebook Event or drop us a line. The seats are in the best rows.

And after the movie, we’ll go have a drink and talk about the movie. And that’s what we’ll base our review on: Your voices. Yes, as opposed to our Saturday-Post, you’ll get to have your say in the reivew. So stick around, have your voice heard and have fun!

So how do you get there?

Take one of the following trams from the train station to the station Stauffacher:

  • #2
  • #3
  • #8
  • #9
  • #14

And while you’re driving on the tram, look out to the right in the direction of travel. You will see the cinema just before the tram stops at the Stauffacher.
